Tim is a designer and maker specialising in emerging technologies, physical user interaction and connected objects & environments. His work spans a diverse range of media, at both large and small scales, with all of his projects sharing a common theme of exploring the boundaries between digital and physical design in order to engage the viewer in interesting and unexpected ways.
He currently collaborates with a loose collective of London based UX, electrical, mechanical and software specialists to deliver bespoke experiential objects, installations, exhibitions and thought pieces. He works with clients from a range of industries including advertising, architecture and entertainment.
Prior to this, he spent four years working as an architectural lighting designer at Light Bureau and Pinniger & Partners. During this time he was involved in projects ranging from urban master planning and events to heritage, retail and residential lighting. This has left him with a proven history in delivering large scale projects, from concept to installation, including all aspects of project management.
He has a BSc in Product Design from Brighton University and really, really misses living by the sea.
He also like to draw things, whenever he finds a spare minute. He's particularly partial to the Palomino Blackwing 602.
His CV can be found here.
He's also on Twitter, Last.FM and This Is My Jam.
He is always on the lookout for opportunities to build things that haven’t been built before. Want to talk about a project? Get in touch.
